Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery
Foundation of Community Healthcare in Bihar
Program Overview
The Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) programme is a 2-year diploma course designed to produce skilled healthcare workers who serve as the first point of contact between the community and the health system. Recognised by the Bihar Nursing Registration Council and approved by the Government of Bihar, this programme prepares students to deliver primary healthcare, maternal & child health services, family welfare, and preventive health education — particularly in rural and semi-urban areas of Bihar.
